I am a former World ranked sprint cyclist and represented the Great British Team on many occasions. I was Regional Champion, National Champion and achieved my highest ranking of 15th in the world. I currently train towards competing in Weightlifting and other Strength and Power Sports.

As a coach, I have 16 years of experience, working with Part time to Elite level athletes as Strength Coach.  I am also an Advanced Personal Trainer and have been proving 1-2-1, group and bootcamp personal training services, to the members of the public for 16 years.

My philosophy is to help everybody become “The best YOU Can Be!” In Sport and Life, we all have talents and abilities and areas we need to focus on. My objective as a Coach is to help my clients develop the areas they excel in, but also focus on the areas they are not good at. As a Personal Trainer, Emma has over 8 years experience in training clients. She is a qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer recognised by REPS (Register of Exercise Professionals)

She is also an accomplished Kettlebell Instructor and specialises in training women, advising on nutrition and weight management and the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

In addition to the above Emma is also a registered Osteopath. Emma offers a wide range of osteopathic techniques, these include soft tissue massage, stretching techniques, joint mobilisation or manipulation techniques, to help restore and improve movement within joints of the body and spine. Emma can also offer a more gentle technique called cranial osteopathy.

Emma was a former competitive gymnast and dancer. Specialising in Street and Jazz. She has many interests including Singing, acting and performing.

MY background & philosophy

As a personal trainer John has 15 years experience in training clients and other personal trainers.

In that time he has gained extensive experience, whilst applying the latest scientific exercise techniques.

John has a BSc Hons Sport Science & Physiology Degree where he specialised in biomechanics and nutrition. He also has Strength & Conditioning Level 1,2,3 from KBTEducation and a YMCA Personal trainer qualification and has completed a BWLA Leader's award. He is a qualified Level 3 Advanced Personal Trainer recognised by REPS (Register of Exercise Professionals).

John's main training ideology is based around HIT (high intensity training) pioneered by Arthur Jones. He has significant experience in this area focusing on training bodybuilders and Miss Figure contestants, where he has applied his significant nutritional knowledge and obtained award-winning results. He is also an experienced powerlifter and kettlebell instructor and has trained many athletes and increased their performance.

MY background & philosophy

Sport and fitness has been a huge part of my life for as
long as I remember. I have played football at an amateur level since childhood
and have played in the Swansea
Saturday league for the last 13 years. Swimming was a big part of my life as a
child and I represented my county on a few occasions. I am a keen boxer and
have had 2 amateur fights and have another two lined up this year. I am also a
keen runner and have completed a number of 5 and 10k races.

I train my clients the way I train myself: hard and smart.
High intensity is important to me as I think it gets the best results in the
quickest time. I am a big believer in full body, functional movements to help
get the body working and performing at full capacity. Everyone has the
potential to be great, my job is to help people realise that. I do use
equipment such as free weights, kettlebells, medicine balls and other great
functional equipment but it is my belief that all you need to have an amazing
workout is an imagination!
