JB Grippers come with unique extension handles which screw into the handgripper like a silencer into a gun. The extension handles change the leverage factor which in turn changes the resistance of the gripper. So, using the lever principle, the JB Gripper has a lower poundage if you close it at the bottom of the extension handles and a higher poundage if you try closing it without the extension handles.
